They are trying to out do each other this early on.
I say it will reach $1200 unless they come to their senses.
Noobies calm down.
This post has us all in a tizzy.
It has got to be some kind of record . The most posts in such a short time.
Armor junkies calm down.
Agreed.
And if this is released in the near future, using this mold, a big waste of money. IMO.
Plus there is no authentication at all from "cat lady". She didn't even know what she had. Even if it is a prototype, how many more are out there.
Not trying to be a pessimist, but I don't get it.

well at least this shows there is an eager market for a 1/18 KT. If ALLGO ever has the wear with all to make it. They still have all the data and tooling, as i understand it. And with the economy improving....
I wonder why she made it just a 5 day auction? Maybe she knows it's about to be released at retail and wants to sell this before it is.

$630.99 and this is only the 24th....
oh boy this should be good.
"well at least this shows there is an eager market for a 1/18 KT." I was thinking the same thing Andrew. I wonder if it's AllGo's way of testing the waters.
We'll have to see if TKO has any intel on the subject.

seriously doubt it's a test since this lady had no idea what she had until we all started emailing her and telling her...lol. They may sit up and take notice of this but i suspect they already knew/know a 1/18 KT will be a good seller. It's just a matter of how to bring it to the marketplace given their current circumstances.

Wow, that tank is a beauty. Is is worth the risk to purchase the KT when there's still a chance, fat or slim, that it will be mass produced? I don't know. This could turn into a bidding Thunderdome.
Cat Lady is also selling a winter panther, sans engine cover, which seems to be more winterized than the stock release. Maybe it is another prototype paint master that never had an engine cover?

As I recall the King Tiger was to follow the release of the 88s. So maybe there is a warehouse full of Tigers.
And as Andrew said it may a matter of how to get them to the marketplace, etailers / retailers. Lets hope AllGO figures it out.

$630.99 at the present moment...REALLY????
I'd take a R/C Tamiya KT any friggin' day of the week at this price and have a helluva lot more fun building it, painting it, destroying the yard and terrorizing the neighbor's cat with it.

There are a few 21st 1/6th goodies that started showing up late last year.
"Villains-Mad Bomber" and "Vietnam-Tunnel Rat" come to mind.
That would be so sweet, if this is the first of many KT's to start showing up on evilPay.
The noobs outbidding each other for bragging rights would be so p*ssed.

how would this person, 'cat lady toy seller' get her hands on what is probably the only 1/18 KT paint master? Wouldn't you think that would be something that 21C/AllGo would want to hang onto, so they could at least sell it themselves and make a few bucks?
And it's interesting to note who hasn't chimed in on this thread: none of the etailers and tko. Maybe they all know something we don't but are sworn to secrecy for the moment?
Is this how rumours get started?

How about everyone give like PH 20-70$ and he bids, wins it, and holds a lottery for it?
I would rather see it in the hands of a SSHQ member.
Sad thing is when it was first listed. I could have probably convinced her to do a BIN for $100

Don't know why it'd be such a "secret". There's not a lick of competition whatsoever in the 1/18th world anymore.
But, if Where'd-They-Go toys puts this sucker out soon, in all honesty, I'd be suprised (in a good way).

I'd hate to be a downer but I have severe doubts about any more KT showing up in the future. Allgo is incompetent and I doubt they'll ever do anything. Don't hold your breath on them releasing anything. As for the whole idea that there might be some secret stash of unreleased KTs waiting to be posted on Ebay, well, anything could happen I suppose, but for the most part I'm chalking it up to wishful thinking.
As much as I wish I were wrong, the King Tiger will most likely only be available in 1:16.

Has anyone even asked her to post a picture of it next to a ruler??
this may be a $630 1/35 or 1/32 King tiger... She has no proof that it is 1/18, no box no comparisons with figures nothing, I live about 2 hours from her stated location, I may take a vacation and go Tiger hunting....

The S2 Ambush Panther. It was exclusive to the 21st fan club and could only be ordered through them.

Well if it does end up being one of a kind I don't think Pickel will have to post a poll to see if people would be interested in him making one
