this cought my attention i know its been on the site for quite some time now but does anyone know if this has even made it to retail???

The F-104 and second SBD (tri-color number 52) never made it to retail

All hope may not be lost...

BBI seems to be on a resurgence with their three 1:18 releases and probably more to come. Perhaps they will work repaints of the existing 1:32 items into the mix (i.e. the F-4, Dauntless, and Wildcat) and eventually head towards new toolings like the F-104.

That would be great. It certainly would be a boost for 1/32 collectors.
