Is it Sunday yet?

I'm hoping for WWII.

I'd say Mosquito, but the $140 price tag doesn't match up.

Bring on four engines!

Wow, with so many folks already complaining about a 140.00 price point, I hope Badcat (and the company to make this aircraft) do not get scared and pull out :(

I remember last year when many of us were talking about what we would pay for an A-10 or other equally cool aircraft, the price point we were batting around was more than 140.00. Looks like it's almost time to put our money where our mouth was/is.

Amen! $140 for something big, bad, and beautiful is more than fair. When you consider that the F/A-18 is between $90 and $110 at most places on-line,and same for the F-16, it's not that big of a jump. Factor in that I watched a lot of Avengers go for upwards of $120 on e-bay while I was trying to get mine, and have watched several existing aircraft pass the $200 and even $300 mark recently, and people are obviously willing to break that threshold with what is out there now. Let alone something bigger and more detailed. If the $140 price point is so scary, companies like GMP, Armour, and even Corgi would be in deep doo-doo for much smaller models.
So bring it on!

I agree too. The $140 price tag is no where near bad especially if it is a large aircraft that no one has done yet. I'd gladly pay that price for an A-10, F-4, F-14, etc.

Just do them....especially the A-10... :D
Go Ugly Early in 1/18!!

Still waiting and wishing for a 1/18 A-10 Warthog.

Well something to remember is that no matter what the plane is we won't see it until Christmas time at least.

Which has the added bonus of extra time to save box-tops! I am thinking it may be time to start socking away about $15 a month in a special Bad Cat skunkworks fund...

There will be armor.... count on it. Armor sells, it's a staple for outfits like 21C and FOV. Seeing as how FOV introduced a bunch of new stuff for 2007, it seems logical that 21C will likely follow suit to a certain extent, in order to stay competitive. In model collecting as in war, you can bomb the enemy into the stone age, but to achieve total victory you must send in the tanks and men to occupy the enemies territory. I believe 2007 is going to be a good year for wingnuts and groundpounders alike, stay tuned kiddies. :D

Chief - HPH (www.hph.cz) in Czechslovkia that produces the 1/18 scale aircraft for $$$$. Saw the post in a forum somewhere from an HPH rep who basically made the same comment. No complaints from me since the big 3 (AD,BBI,2C) provide the same product at an affordable price.
