Dragon Armor 2nd 40 Poster and UML Exclusive Tiger Tank

Post by Juneau@1 » Sun Feb 13, 2005 8:01 pm

I have the latest poster from Dragon showing the second 40 tanks/armor that they are releasing. On this is a Tiger tank that I have yet to see anywhere including Cyber Hobby. It is a late production camo Tiger tank and is listed as #60122. I emailed Dragon about this and their reply was that this was only available in Asia. Yet, usually something like this ends up on ebay and I have not seen it there. I asked this on another forum and didn't get any answer. I am hoping someone here might have info. Maybe this is something that will show up at Dragon Expo or on Cyber Hobby sometime this year. Either way, it is a really cool version of the tiger.

UML is the Universal Models Mega store in Hong Kong.. And that particular tank must be a store ONLY exclusive.. Too bad, that was a scheme I would have liked to have..

Dragon's 1/72nd plastic Late Tiger with Zimmerit kit.

These are the markings for Willi Fey's Tiger 134 of SS-sPzAbt102, another of the "Tiger Aces", whom I believe, survived the war.

The camo scheme is very similar to the Minichamps Tiger #10001

oh... on my book from Heimdal "Guards against Hohenstaufen, a cartoon of the willy fey's tiger is totally different :

The cartoon was made upon indications given by willy fey himself.
the number 134 is pink with white lines around...
The book talk about fights at Chenedollé in normandy on august 7 1944

below a photo showing willi fey in bundeswehr uniform in 1974 and near a 88mm shell, probably fired by his tiger, in 1992.
I don't know if he's alive in 2006 !!
