It doesn't matter how small the subject is, it's probably not going to be anywhere near the price range most people here will be willing to accept.Airacobra wrote:Yes, and very small. May help to keep the price lower.NightVyper wrote:the A-4 is a real nice plane.
I hope I'm wrong though.

Re: Lancaster
The Patillo twins will be there, along with a couple of SR-71 Blackbird pilots. Should be a great show this year. Besides, MTS will have a booth there.bananapirate wrote:EAA Airshow? that's a 5min drive for meB-29 wrote: Any chance one of these is the T-6 that was shown at Oskosh last year?

SkyWorks Sale
SkyWorks is now offering for sale several items we consider "seconds". These items are sold as is, and shipping is extra. These are items that do not meet our normal quality standards, but are still OK items.
We have 14 sets of the F-14 Engine Nozzle available as seconds. These are "seconds" and some have small pin holes or resin voids in them, but would still look OK mounted on the plane. They are unpainted and unfinished. The cost for these is $5 a set (2 engine nozzles), and $6 shipping for a total of $11 a set. Please contact us if interested. These are first come, first serve and we only have 14.
We also have several of out kit models available as "seconds". If we sell it on our web site we most likely have it, so please contact us for availability, model, and pricing.
If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Seconds Sale Update
Just a quick update on the sale SkyWorks is having on some of our "seconds".
The best way to buy anything, including kits, or engine nozzles is to contact us directly through the SkyWorksToys web site. Send us an email using the contact feature, and let us know what you models you are interested in, or how many of the nozzles you want. That way we can track this on our own site.
We are in the process of doing a quick inventory of sets available, so we should be able to let you know next week what we have, and how much they are. As far as the engine nozzles go, we still had a few sets available as of this afternoon. These are being sold on a fist pay, first serve basis, so if you want to pay using PayPal you can send payment to Jack's account at dygapeter@aol.com. That way you get in line for a set without having to go back and forth with emails.
Thanks for all your support!

SkyWorks Web Site
I think I need to clear something up. SkyWorksToys is NOT set up to sell anything from our web-site, but in this case we are taking emails there so we can fill a few orders for "seconds". This does not mean that all orders should come this way, they shouldn't. If you are placing an order for anything other than one of the "seconds" we are offering please use the Military Toy Store or Bad Cat web sites to order, as they are the ones who carry our products.
Sorry for any confusion!

Future Products
SkyWorks has announced one of it's new products. We are going to do a 1/18th Typhoon/Tempest! The details, and the ability to pre-order this model are available on the Military Toys web-site.
As for the next models, I can't say at this point, but rest assured it is something everyone wants! It was one of the top requested models in this Holy Grail post, and the reason I started the chain. I think we will be able to say something very shortly, so stay tuned....

Is Skyworks offering a kit for the Typhoon and the Tempest? I could only find information about the Typhoon at MTS. If Skyworks is releasing the Tempest as well as the Typhoon, which version of the Tempest are they releasing, MK. II or MK. IV or both?
"What a magnificent aeroplane! They could have all their Spitfires and Mustangs!"

Typhoon / Tempest
Sorry guys, that must be my mistake. I thought they were the same plane, just used in different services, and since it is a kit it could be either. Goes to show nobody is perfect! Isiah from the Military Toy Store is right, we are only doing the Typhoon. Sorry for the mix-up, 30 lashes for me with the wooden cane!
