ACES HIGH

Post by Crazy Kraut » Sat Mar 06, 2010 11:10 am

Hope there are some Metal-Heads around us. All the others maybe would not understand what I´ve done to that little Spit and her pilot.
Need to say that the plane was demolished and I want to thank you Fritzkrieg for the inspiration.
Some battle damage at the plane and weathering/oldering at the pilot is still to do.
Enjoy

HELL YEA 8) 8) 8) 8)

There goes the siren that warns of the air raid,
Then comes the sound of the guns sending flak.
Out for the scramble we've got to get airborne,
Got to get up for the coming attack.

Jump in the cockpit and start up the engines,
Remove all the wheelblocks there's no time to waste.
Gathering speed as we head down the runway,
Got to get airborne before it's too late.

Running, scrambling, fire,
Rolling, turning, diving, going in again.
Running, scrambling, fire, Rolling, turning, diving,
Run, live to fly, fly to live, do or die.
Won't you run, live to fly, fly to live, Aces high!

Move in to fire at the mainstream of bombers,
Let off a sharp burst and then turn away.
Roll over, spin round to come in behind them,
Move to their blindsides and firing again.

Bandits at 8 O'clock move in behind us,
Ten ME-109's out of the sun.
Ascending and turning our spitfires to face them,
Heading straight for them I press down my guns.

Rolling, turning, diving,
Rolling, turning, diving, going in again.
Rolling, turning, diving, Rolling, turning, diving,
Run, live to fly, fly to live, do or die.
Won't you run, live to fly, fly to live, Aces high!!!
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Had to think about a MP3-Player and a mini speaker to put inside playing this song. Reminds me of my head banging youth time.

Really cool custom Crazy Kraut.

But I think Eddie would need a bigger than 1/1 scale Spit.

This reminds me of the movie Heavy Metal, when a B-17 is shot to hell and all of the crew, but one survive and then this evil hits the plane and the dead come to life as zombies.

Of course this was just a part of the movie, it was pretty good animation for the time. Check it out, its really a different movie.

SWEEEEET!!! 8)

There was a song for the Germans too. ;)

BLue Oyster Cult ME-262 Lyrics:

Goering's on the phone to Freiburg
Says "Willie's done quite a job"
Hitler's on the phone from Berlin
Says "I'm gonna make you a star"

My Captain Von Ondine, here's your next patrol
A flight of English bombers across the canal
After twelve, they'll all be here
I think you know the job

They hung there dependent from the sky
Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers, ripened, ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

In a G-load disaster from the rate of climb
Sometimes I'd faint and be lost to our side
But there's no reward for failure, but death
So watch me in the mirrors, keep me on the glidepath

Get me through these radars, no I cannot fail
When my great silver slugs are eager to feed
I can't fail, no not now
When twenty five bombers wait ripe

They hung there dependent from the sky
Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers, ripened, ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

Me-262 prince of turbojet, Junker's Jumo 004
Blasts from clustered R4M quartets in my snout
And see these English planes go burn
Now will you be my witness how red were the skies
When the fortresses flew, for the very last time
It was dark over Westphalia, in April of '45

They hung there dependent from the sky
Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers, ripened, ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Junkers Jumo 004 (repeat many times)
Bombers at 12 o'clock high

Thanks and Yes at one side of the tail is written "Shoot me if you can, KRAUT" and at the other side I´ve done "Flying Maiden" in IRON MAIDEN letters.
Got approx 500 different fonts at my PC one of them is named Iron Maiden
With that, my laser printer, special decal foil and a lot of time I print out all my decals by my own.
Next should be a Decal Kit for the Ju87 Panzerknacker. Of course in Rudel colours during winter time.
