1/18 Huey, Cosair, and P-51 repaints
Here are several 1/18 repaints I have been working on:
Corsair from Escort Carrier CVE-109 USS Cape Gloucester:
UH-1C Huey "Ace of Spades" of the 174th Assault Helicopter Company with pickel's sagami mounts
Chuck Yeager's P-51D "Glamorous Glen III"
With Pegasus Bell X-1
Let me know what you think

It's been a while since you posted pics of the P-39. I would like to see the progress you have made.

looks great! One question, though -- weren't Yeager's planes named "Glamorous Glennis?"
Re: 1/18 Huey, Cosair, and P-51 repaints
Thanks, only Yeager's X-1 was named Glamorous Glennis. Tgburch wrote:looks great! One question, though -- weren't Yeager's planes named "Glamorous Glennis?"
His P-51s were Glamorous Glen I, II, and III. Airacobra- I will give an update on the P-39 soon, I have been working to redo the landing gear mechanism, and will post when I finish.

They all look great, but my personal favorite would be the P-51. Nice Job!! Are those decals or stencils?
Re: 1/18 Huey, Cosair, and P-51 repaints
Thanks! All of the number markings are stencils. The nose art/kill flags/signature are decals.pizzaguy wrote:They all look great, but my personal favorite would be the P-51. Nice Job!! Are those decals or stencils?
Razor- Here are some detail pics of the gun mounts and 7 tube rocket pods.

Correct me if I am wrong B-29, but I believe they are customs by Pickel.Castroww wrote:That huey looks amazing, were did you get the rocket tubes from and the swivel and gun mounts? Great job

You are right, the gun mounts are by pickel, but I built the rocket pods.B17Fortress wrote:Correct me if I am wrong B-29, but I believe they are customs by Pickel.Castroww wrote:That huey looks amazing, were did you get the rocket tubes from and the swivel and gun mounts? Great job

All your repaints are great, I lean mostly towards WWII, but that Huey really is nice, wish I was better at painting I have a P-47 Razorback I would like to paint in a D-Day scheme.

It doesn't really matter, I'm not a rivet counter, not that there is anything wrong with that, its just I know my skills aren't good enough to ever try to be exact
I just like the D-Day stripes on the P-47's.
