Holy Cow! Those would be perfect for a Tears of the Sun or some sort of covert ops in Africa diorama. Very nice.

I wasn't sure what the measurements would be, so I tried to do the conversion for the truck.
L--11 5/8"
W-- 4 3/8"
H--7 5/16"
Let me know if I'm too far off.
I wonder if the height includes the tailgate.
Nice truck, anyone know if this is an actual existing truck or is it just made up. It looks like something from the 50's or 60's.
Kevin.

G'day Kev
My first guess was for a 1970's Beford, but it could pass as one of Soviet or Chinese origin.

I think the building below will make an excellent French style colonial rubber plantation house for the Vietnam Period.

When I first saw it I had the same line of thought, an ideal vehicle for one of the many (and ongoing) African wars, but also with some vegetation camouflage the truck could be used as an NVA transport on the Ho Chi Minh trail in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and in and around the I Corps AO.

For the building it says:
Article size in mm (L x W x H):
540 x 500 x 300
What does that convert to?
Is it close to 1/18 scale?

Great for the new Platoon figures if the scale is close!

The truck looks like a cross between an Unimog and a Pinzgauer.

Alf,
You had it kinda rough with those military rebels, didn't you?
The pics are great! I would have never thought the plantation building was as big inside and out by the other static pic. The other items you show in your pics are really nice - water tower, open shed, big tree.
Thanks for sharing with us!

The plantation house i have thought of 3 possible uses for. 1- a ww2 japanese jungle house, 2- a vietnam period junlge building, and a captured dak africa village house
Ill have to look into those

Great pics. I'd really like to get a few of those trees.
Was ALF warning that guy to watch his head while going through the doorway?
That'll leave a mark!
