Did anyone ever make a 1/18 Rufe conversion kit?

PH did you? Seems like a natural. I know the Rufe didn't have u/c legs but I think most could live with it. All that is really needed is the main float and 2 wing floats. The rear fairing under the tail could be scratch built.

I have always wanted to but never did.
The Rufe and the Spitfire with floats are on the list for things too build before I die.
Also on the list is the Twin Mustang F-82 .

wow a twin Mustang will be nearly a whole new kit. Won't be much from a 1/18 P-51 that is usable.

Yeah not much at all.
But it could be a base for mods and you will have to use 2 of them.
I have held 2 mustangs for years waiting to be converted.
