Nick ,
GREAT PICS !!!
I know they did not use the skid plate on the floor . Just asking if they guys who are buying would want it.
But your floor pic rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know what it looks like. The Trumpeter model floor is blank.
What is that apparatus hanging across the middle of the port side door ? Some type of shelf that collapses when the door is opened ?
One more request for pics if you have them.
Do you have any shots of the left and right side of the pilots seat in the cockpit looking rearwards to the left and right ?

Re: 1/18th Scale Mi-24 Hind Will Be a Reality ! !!
The above mentioned white painted Mil Mi-24 Hind helicopter under UN markings is actually Ukrainian. As far as I remember they were deployed with some other (also white painted UN marked) Ukrainian Mil Mi-8s and Mil Mi-26s to peacekeeping mission to Sierra Leone and to Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa & other conflict areas in Asia. At least two of these Hinds were spoted still under UN markings (due to urgently revoke back in Ukraine) fighting against the pro-Russian forces in Donetsk Region, East Ukraine during the 2014 & 2015 civil War operations. United Nations HQ were concerned over the interim Ukrainian government's use of military helicopters bearing its signature in military operations. Unfortunatelly, the pro-goverment Ukranian forces used these UN marked Mil Mi-24s against ground militias and civilians into residential areas, but didn't dare to face actual military opponents when Russian forces simply opened Crimea's door and passed through the borders with zero resistance. Crimea, a previously Ukrainian territory, is currently a part of Russian Federation since 2014. Click HERE for a UN marked Mil Mi-24 Ukrainian sample video, during the civil War 2014 operations on East Ukraine.
Speaking for "different" Hind options, feel free to have a look on the black overall painted (easy choice for scale modeling) Greek-Cypriot Mil Mi-35s. The Greek-Cypriot National Guard is among the latest Hind operators in Europe acquiring up to 12 newly-built Mi-35Ps during 2001 to 2003. these Mil Mi-35s are NVG equiped and capability to use the 9M120 Ataka-V ATGM carried in eight-round launcher units. One helicopter lost in accident on 2006. Major upgrade took place in 2010 for the addition of self-defensive ECM systems. Used to be painted overall black untill 2015 when they changed into some desert-alike camouflage.

Well It seams as if Nick is gone.
He was ousted before I had a chance to comment on the Mi-35 pics that he posted.
The Mi-35 is the Russian export Mi-24.
Did any of you notice that these versions do not have retracting landing gear !!!
Some of the other pics show the very outside weapons support vertical is cut in half and other pic it is missing all together !!!
Corsair Bob
A finish date is impossible to determine. I would say I have a SOLID 3-4 weeks of hands on working to complete the Hind . With no interruptions.
Interruptions = Work, Family ,Hurricanes ect.
Almost all of the sections I have worked on are about 95 % done and need to be tweaked up to 100 %
The crew cab is about 20% and needs the most work.
Then it is on to the exterior .
The exterior's main hurdle are the panel lines. They are slow and precise , then I also have to build raised panels throughout the body.
Then there so many little antennas to do
All these things take time . This is not a "one of " build . You can't just make a piece and glue it on. That piece has to be made to attach to something align then taken off and casted so it can me attached in the same spot . This all takes time.
I would say a " one of " build can be done in a third of the time it takes to build a production build.
Sometimes scratch building is not so easy although 1/3 of this project was 3-D printed
I still have them up for presale at $300 plus shipping.
A full build will be more than double that price.

Thanks guys it means a lot !!!!
BTW
After fitting everything together it does NOT sit on it's tail !!!
But after molding and maybe cutting in the resin flow channels that could change.
But for now she sits just fine !!!

Hey Pickel, do you have an estimate for shipping to Canada? Trying to make up my mind on this beaut, I'm just hesitant to pay $400+ CDN for it.
