To ammend my previous post, the Platoon figures finally showed up at one of my area Wal Marts as of today :D

They were there along with a new stack of more 32x Bf-109Fs. I may have to get another set of the Platoon figures to keep carded as I opened the ones sent to me by a fellow board member a few weeks back.

I am as glad for you with the Platoon find as I am sad to see more 109s coming our way. :? :D

Found more Platoon figures at an outlying Wal Mart. Didn't pick any up, but between the two stores that have them in my area, I will have to get a set to keep carded.

I was just at three WMs today. All of them still had more platoon figures! No dual packs or other figures at all.

One Walmart here in Albuquerque has the WWII German 2-pks and German-American 2-pks.
I picked up 2 of each.

The Platoon figures are doing a major pegwarming around here. Now if Walmart would just carry a few 1:18 Huey helicopters for those figures to ride in, I'll bet they could clear them out pronto.

Don't they even know Hueys are going for $200+ on eBay. Opportunity missed.

Got the newish German figs at the local Wally yesterday. Nice. I think the "Wermacht" rifleman has the nicest headsculpt. The artillery spotter dude has a facial expression that evokes, "Javol! I am getting mine routine prostate check. ARGH-H-H!!!!" Can't imagine what 21C was thinking when they came up with that one. Oh, well. Nice to finally see these guys. Now if I can only get hold of the corresponding Yanks...

I finally found the Bruno rifleman, and both of the new DAK guys at a somewhat local Walmart. Only WM with new stuff around here. I didn't pick any up, though...cause I loaded up on those Bruno figures from TRU.com.
I looked at the trap, Ray.

2-packs never made it to the Dallas area. Not that I have seen. I find this very strange.

I haven't seen the two figure packs around KC, so I drove over to Topeka Kansas on Sunday to look around. At the Super Walmart I found three pegs of the two figure packs. Oddly though there were only three DAK sets and the other 20 or so where the VN sets. I picked up two DAK and one VN set.

Nothing here either. Frustrating. But then, maybe WM is holding these back to sell to KB at a later time

Another thing too that I've mentioned before is, how come you can walk into ANY WM and find THE CORPS? Yet XD can be found in one WM, and not in another one?

The Houston Wal-Mart on Dunvale/Westheimer has 4-5 21st 1/32 Century FW-190 #19. Also, several 1/48 ME-109s.

Over the past two days, I hit a WM in North Olmsted, Elyria, Strongsville and Avon, Ohio...a few Platoon figs in each one. PITYFULL! Why doesn't WM just put them Online? I know WM wants us to GO INTO their stores for XD...then there should be XD in their stores! SHEESH!
