Re: FOV rouses itself from slumber...!!!
Looks like they made the thick armor slab on the hull side into "box" spaced armor. Totally wrong. It was a single 3"+ slab of armor cut from a panther.

It's just pennies cheap for them to pop out new models from old molds....to key up and run multi colors and paint apps would drive up the cost. These 'prototypes' were just made.

I think they're pretty much the same as Altaya and IXO. Diecast metal, nicer than Eaglemoss.
Easy Model have nicer paint and finishes overall.

Ground action seems dead, except maybe for resin stuff like Panzer Depot or whatever. Aviation is still kicking though. I am really in to the WWI stuff from Wings of Glory.

Fury is a fantastic movie. Some typical overwrought Hollywood melodrama and silly non-tactics, but still a must see.

I'm pretty excited about the idea of a 18 scale stug, and think the kit looks pretty nice straight from the box! Something like zim can't be judged until the final finish and paint, but from the looks of the kit without it, I doubt I would bother.

Anyone no how to get the triangle-holed screws out of the bottom of these things? Are there trinagle tipped wrenchs (like hex but 3 side) out there?
