FOV SWAT & Fire Fighters?

What ever happen to these FOV figures, were they scrapped? I was looking foward to the SWAT figures.

I've been watching the series Rescue Me on DVD and it's caused me to want fire fighter figures. I'm like a friggin' twelve year old - if I read about or watch things on WWII, then I hanker for WWII toys (not that I don't have a bunch already). Or Vietnam, or (insert the battle, war, or subject matter of your choice here) whatever, I want toys to go with it. Anyone else here wired like that?

I just found a set of the Power Team Elite firefighters on Amazon, I think they were the best firefighter 1:18 action figures to date. I wish I would have saved some of the ones I purchased at Big Lots years ago. They were a bargain.

I was really looking forward to these guys. I didn't get any PTE FF's but I did get the BBi and intoyz SWAT guys.

I found these Papo figures. No articulation, of course. Does anyone know how Papo figures compare to 1/18 for scale?
