Hummmm. this link does not work from GPXD but when I type in the address manually from my browser it works just fine.
Puzzled.

One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!
Me, too
My avatar keeps disappearing, but then reappears sometimes. It is a link to a photo in my Webshots account. Sometimes it reappears after I access my Webshots account, sometimes I have to reload it on my profile page. Sometimes it reappears for no good reason at all.
A photo I tried to paste into the message body showed up for a while, but also disappeared ("Air-to-Air with a Dauntless" thread in Reference Room).
I'm probably overlooking something simple... any suggestions??
Thanks,
JimBob

Typically, webshots does not allow outside hotlinking. I'd recommend http://www.imageshack.us/
Imageshack
oops...Imageshack.

Use a www.google.com image search for the word, "Stuka." You will come up with many, many pictures of this famous plane. Next, copy a small picture that you like of a Stuka to your computer by right clicking on it. You can right-click on the smaller image to get a smaller picture copied to your computer. Then go to the site www.imageshack.us and follow the simple on-screen instructions to upload your little picture. Copy its URL and paste it into the "Link to Off Site Avatar" in your Options/Profile page on this forum. Then (I think) you should have your avatar! Here's some pictures you could potentially use, along with their URL from imageshack:

OK guys, as you can see, I'm now sporting an avatar, courtesy of one of my ex-coworkers, Mr. Don Boyd.
The picture was taken by him here at MIA (Miami International Airport), and portrays an Avianca Airlines B-747-200 during take off from runway 30.
Avianca is the largest Colombian airline, in business since 1919 and according to many sources, the second oldest airline in the world.
If you'd like to see many more great airliner pictures, I'd like to invite you to visit www.airliners.net, a popular site with incredibly beautiful airplane pictures. Mr Boyd's contributions to that website are many and very enjoyable as well.
