TARGET - 1/18 sighting
I was at Target today and saw they were putting out tan 1/18 scale M1 Abrams Tanks and M2 Bradleys.
This is the first time a LONG time that I have seen any 1/18 vehicles on a Target shelf.
Anybody else see this at their Target Store? If so, could a new 1/18 Tiger be on the way??

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

i wonder if this is new stock or old stuff left over from last year they're putting out to get rid of over christmas?
Probably won't be any wwii stuff, just like last year. Target doesn't want wwii toys....it was the same with bbi. Unimax was just able to sneak them in that one year.

Target's not one to hang onto stock from a year previous to sell the following Christmas... This is surely new stock. I believe they even cleared out any stragglers after last christmas, in the 1:18 vehicle realm.

Well, individual stores generally don't hold onto old merch, but periodically the regional warehouses will clear out any remaining old stock for close-outs (or 'remainders' as we called them at Borders Books) and send them to stores that previously had a strong sales history moving those items in hopes of selling the bulk of it before selling it off to someplace like Big Lots.

I'm here in Houston for awhile. Stopped at a couple of targets. Same; 1 ea of M1and M2; couple of modern figures; some 1/72 helos nothing new that I can tell.

I'm hoping the LAV will be available again, I was deployed when they were out and missed them. I know they arent as good as the BBi ones but I still want one.

Re: TARGET - 1/18 sighting
Doesn't appear that the FOV stuff is moving off the shelves at least in Northern, CA. The tanks and figures are just sitting collecting dust and it's been several weeks since the last time I passed by the toy ailse.

Re: TARGET - 1/18 sighting
If target went back to selling WWII 1:18th the stuff would sell.
Re: TARGET - 1/18 sighting
Was in a target on westheimer blvd in houston last night. Had two FOV WWII soldiers except that they were not. Looks like someone open the package and replaced the figure with PTE soldiers and then returned them. Several other figure packs looked similar.
