Awesome. I'd buy the thing as is or as an unpainted kit. I'm just silly like that.
I would get a serious kick out of building a kit that big... 8)

Did you get some pictures of the Corsair sitting next to the F-14? The paint job on that Corsair looks nice.

JSI has to become careful with false advertising on their website:
Item Number: 00000
Scale: 1:18

Description:
1. Fully outfitted cockpit with hinged canopy, revealing plenty of cockpit detail interiors.
2. Retractable landing gear with rubber tires.
3. Authentic scale, panel lines, surface details and simulated rivets.
4. Features moving ailerons, elevators, flaps and rudder as well as adjustable trailing and leading edge flap.
5. Realistic paint scheme, antennas and access panels.
6. Authentic detachable ordnance loads.
7. Equipped armament and missiles.
8. Detailed turbojet engine and mounted Intakes.
9. Suitable for static or hanging display.
I don't mind not having them but don't advertise something that it does not have.

Who says it won't? This looks like a prototype of sorts anyhow.

Even if it doesn't have all they list, so what? It won't stop me from buying one. I hope this doesn't start turning into a finger pointing contest right off the bat.

God Bless JSI for getting into the 1/18 modern jet world... :D

This thing is HUGE
It was broken in transit so it doesn't look as good as it should
this is production pieces not a prototype
Look for it before xmas
No pilots are included but Merit is pushing for them to make some
I am not pointing fingers just pointing out whats on on the JSI website.

I Don't mind that it will not have those features, but don't adversities them if they don't have them.

I agree God bless JSI.

I maybe wrong....but I still think this doesn't look like a production piece. Maybe for the most part it is. However, if it isn't going to show up until around Christmas, there is still time for them to do some alterations here and there.

Either way, it looks great to me and I'm ready for it.

After seeing these pictures and the pictures of the 1/18 F-15, my hopes for someone doing a 1/18 A-10 spring eternal for sure now.... :D

Do you see or have you heard of an A-10 in 1/18 officially confirmed and ready for production yet?

Looks Great!
I will take whatever version they release.
If it dwarfs the P-38,it must be BIG.
First hand eyewitness report says it is HUGE.
It is looking more and more like this will become reality.

Thanks a lot for all pics

It seems landing gear is made of clear plastic.

Also, check other pics from USMCCHET9296. No zimmerit on Panther and the M-16 halftrack have some parts unpainted.
