Nice job on the AGM-65's but, you need to make the LAU-117 ( the rail that the Maverick slides on to ) for it as well.

Taylor Swift Threatened Shapeways after busts of her were being sold with her name.

20th Century Fox got Shape ways too. Someone uploaded some kind of item from a movie and within 18 hours, 20th Century Fox ordered Shapeways to take it off. Each time the file was downloaded a federal crime was committed for those that sold it.

It is not worth it....Sell only GP items unless you can obtain Merchandising rights. That's why there is no General Dynamics GAU-12 Equalizer on the Merit Harrier II.
Dear AV-8B Driver,

I am afraid that you have an illusionary picture of what 3D printing actually is and that you are quite misinformed on how Shapeways works.

Nobody downloads files or copyrighted material from Shapeways

As long as a 3D CAD designer creates a 3 dimensional digital model and upload it on a library such as Shapeways, he/she has the right to "rent" it on Shapeways lab and sell it. It is a place for digital artists to print their creations and let other people buy it.

Anyuta 3D printed scale models founded back on 2012 and originally operated solely on digital projects for use in industrial construction, later expanded into the scale modeling hobby too by designing & manufacturing complete scale models, after market kits and accessories for the modeller who seeks something different. Nowdays, “Anyuta 3D” apart from it’s own retail scale modeling related products, also creates complete 3D printed model kits or partial 3D digital designs on behalf of international scale model companies or custom work for individual customers such as museums & collectors. "Anyuta 3D" already designs CAD projects as a commision work for international scale model companies, in order to be mass produced as an injection molded kit, available for sale into your local hobby shop.

As for the "General Dynamics VS Merit" issue for the AV-8 Harrier II GAU-12 Equalizer, please allow me to strongly doubt. If so, all the hobbyshops Worldwide should be declared as illegall because they sell scale models of actual aircrafts built by General Dynamics. By same way, all scale modelers and hobbyists Worldwide, should be arrested and convicted... for buying plastic toy airplanes and have fun to build them without take permission from General Dynamics first.

That's because Raytheon made shapeways remove all their counterfeit and unlicensed products. Unfortunately it will only get worse.

Member "granch" could not find the items because he had bookmarked the old links of the models into the "Anyuta 3D" products list. I deleted the old files from old links (since no-one shown interest during last 1-2 years), re-upload the same files again on different link as new entries under the products catalogue and voila! I did it - not the General Dynamics, not the Raytheon, not Donald Trump, not the alliens from outer space and surely and not some imaginary enemy of scale modeling.

The worst part is that you 've been a victim of a hoax about some illusionary War between aircraft/military industries and scale model factories and you keep spreading the fake "news" like it is actually real, without even try to confirm the reliability of your sources and that is the most disappointing. It's a hoax mate! A joke! A prank! You got that or you prefer to continue spreading your conspiracy theories?

PS. Only in the US will you find people who think the moon landing was fake and wrestling is real

Great stuff so far Nick, thanks for doing this.

How about some GBU-39's (small diameter bombs) to go with the BRU-61 rack ?

LAU-117A launcher rail for the Maverick.

GBU-54 with the DSU-33 nose fuze.

BRU-57/A rack for the GBU-54's.

  • The GBU-39 SDB (to fit on the already released 1/18 scale Cobham BRU-61/A weapon carriage rack model by Anyuta 3D) is arleady CAD designed at the moment we speak as accessory for 1/18 scale jet aircrafts. Will be available for sale into following days - stay tuned.

  • As for the LAU-117A launcher rail for the already released 1/18 scale AGM-65 Maverick missiles product, I 'll do it when I'll find some available time, because during this period I am simultaneously working on different projects for aviation museums keeping me quite busy - please wait.
Most of the forum members requests were heard and the 1/18 scale ordinance add-on kits already CAD designed & added on Anyuta 3D online catalog. During the last few days, about a dozen forum members, already bought their requested 3D printed kits and honored me with their confidence to choose Anyuta 3D products. Let's hope that more will follow and eventually buy what they asked for on forum's public thread or with PMs. Accurate model kits & miniature accesories CAD designing from scratch, takes time and requires a lot of effort & dedication. It doesn't just hang on a tree waiting somebody to pick it.

Speaking of extra ordnance for 1/18 scale modern jets, have a look on following teaser picture. If there is an actual interest by forum members, I'll include some 1/18 scale crew figures under the "Figures & busts" section of the Anyuta 3D product catalog, as an add into "Aircraft ordnance" section items, already presented into this thread.

A few days ago, a little problem reported about the 3D printed 1/18 scale Hughes AGM-65 Maverick missiles miniatures. To be more specific, in two cases the items arrived to customers with the rear fins broken (marked into red circles), because inappropriate miniature's wrapping by Shapeways employees (picture is a sample of the broken parts, as kindly given by fellow modeler).

Image

Image

In BOTH cases, complaint reports were filed and as soon as Shapeways factory accepted full responsibility for the problem, a set of NEW miniatures sent to BOTH customers (charge free ofcourse) accompanied with apologies for the unexpected situation.

To avoid any similar situations in future, the 1/18 scale Hughes AGM-65 Maverick missiles miniatures re-designed and from now on, the rear fins will be seperate parts and modeler will have to add some glue and place the rear fins as the second photo shows.
