Re: Small display 1/48 Hell cat
Looks good and my favorite scheme with the Catmouth. How is the Eduard kit? I have one of their 1/48 FAA Hellcats that's in my stockpile.

This Eduard kit is one of the best kit out there for this plane. It was a pleasure to work with. You won't be disappointed. The only down side there is no option for folding wings.

Yet another great build, cnq
Why buy diecast, if your modelling talents are as good as this ?

Exactly! What a beautiful build. Attention to detail (both by the kit manufacturer and the builder) makes this a jewel to display.snake wrote:Yet another great build, cnq

cnq, did you use the kit supplied decals or are these aftermarket decals? Also, was this airbrushed?
Just asking because I'm interested.

The best models to own are the ones YOU like. Don't let anyone's opinion change your mind.

Hey thanks Snake & pmmaker.
I used no after market part/decals for this build. Everything in the box was used .
The plane was airbrushed for main colors. I only hand painted the mouth ( red section) of it. The figures are Verlinden kit and also hand painted.
