ANOTHER LARGE UNIT OF 1/35 VEHICLES
Got these yesterday, nearly 100 - mainly German softskins, including nine Opel Blitz and Maultiers.
Also a couple of old 1/30 Bandai - Hummel, Lang and Nashorn (missing gun)
several 1/32 tanks.
Quite a few to go through the paint shops...
FIRST - AN OVERVIEW
THEN THE LINE UP - INCLUDES STAFF TRANSPORT
OPELS IN FRONT AND ARMOUR TO THE REAR
MORE OPELS
THE 1/30 & 1/32 ITEMS..
SOME ALLIED ARMOUR & SPECIALS
Picked them off at an auction.. Last six lots and every other person had left - just me to put in a bid....!

Wow. Great acquisition. If you don't mind, how much?

Worked out about $3.50 each...and 30% of that was hammer fees and tax...

Kev, you definitely cleaned up. How did you hear about this? Did you just happen to fall upon it? Great find.

Re: ANOTHER LARGE UNIT OF 1/35 VEHICLES
I was actually looking out for unbuilt kits and found these listed as the last lots in a model railroad auction 30 miles away.
Once the railroad lots were sold there was a mass exit, leaving just me and the auction staff.

The floating Sherman is very nice. I've never seen one in model before.

I've often found good Military items(Models, figures, etc) at Model Train shows that every one else walks right by,always worth a look in if there is a Model Train show in your area.

I agree jkinzel. I go every month. I too have picked up some great finds from Britains to FOV to 21st Century to K&C to people's built models they no longer want.

We also have toy and train fairs - agree they can be a good hunting ground - I always pay a bit more to go in on an early bird ticket to beat the masses and get to go through stock as the traders are putting it out.

Re: ANOTHER LARGE UNIT OF 1/35 VEHICLES
I went to an antique mall today, and there was a guy selling all kinds of die cast. He had several FOV, 21st armor and built model planes, which were hanging from the ceiling. I passed on the armor and picked up a nicely done 1/32 F117 and a 1/32 Vietnam era Army Cobra helicopter. The Cobra has operating lights if you connect a 9 volt battery.

Wish I lived closer. I would have had you grab me those FOV vehicles.
