JSI and smaller scales.

Post by cornbreadfred » Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:39 am

Do you guys think there is a chance JSI might get into smaller scales like 1/32nd and 148th scale aircraft? Sure would like to see them release some of the former 21st Century models.
Fred, really looking forward to the JSI 1/18th scale Grumman F-14 Tomcat.

hopefully,as I thought the 21C 1/32 were excellent value for the money.

Not to sure about 1/48 though.Lots of competition already in that scale.

If they have the 1/32 molds, these would do well.

Any news on upcoming JSI planes?.....other than the F-14, Stuka, Corsair and two P-38s already announced?

That's the mystery. Know one really knows what happened to the 1:32 molds.

It would be excellent if they started appearing again.

I would buy them all again, as long as they were different paint schemes. Maybe a few repeats for loose display like the "Shangri La" and "Berlin Express" P-51 B/C's.

There were a few new ones I'll bet were in the works like the Hellcat and P-40E and N's, since my guess is they were building larger scales after the 1:48 planes, like they do and vise versa.

That would simply be awesome if we got those two at least in 1:32!

FERRARI250GTO:

Thanks. I've seen that list. One dealer has a second JSI P-38, Maguire's Pudgy", for pre-order so the list may be old. That's why I was asking if any new releases, other than the ones already announced, were upcoming.
