Wow Kevin! That looks amazing! You've really done a stellar job on all the little details. I can't wait to see it's final paint.

That is a fantastic looking custom, the amount of time and the level of detail you've put into it shows.
Well Done!

Thanks for the kind words gents! I have put the first coat of XF-60 on it, but I think I cut it with too much white(was trying to get a light hue) and I over-did it a bit. I will probably just use some buff XF-57 next time instead. I am going to give the base coat another go soon, but I have national guard duty this weekend, so unfortunately it will probably have to wait until next week.

Ok, been a busy few weeks away from hobby stuff, but I finally had the occasion to get out to my garage and start airbrushing! Not much in the form of an update, but I hope to get the rubber on the roadwheels painted on tonight and maybe some of the stowage details. then it will be time for some Future and decals!

Hey I like that camo scheme, this going to look great!
Roadwheels :? I have to admit I've more than once used a black sharpie, But the
last five or so customs.....roadwheels have been painted.

Road wheels are a pain. When I built my Revell M-48, there were 28 of them to paint, along with 20 of the bogie wheels. Very tedious...

I hear you guys on the pain that road wheels can be. I finished these 2 nights ago, after about 3 hours of effort. Some of that was just taking breaks to give my eyes some rest before they went cross-eyed. An extra annoyance with these is they are overlapped and they are already affixed, which posed some unique challenges. I plan on getting some of the other little details finished and some minor touch up done this weekend and hopefully some future and decals on it as well.

working on some of the detail painting, but wanted to show you a dry fit of mostly everything. Side skirts are absent because they are just a hastle to deal with taking on and off.
