I picked up 4 NIB items, Wolfpack F-16, Golden Dragons F-18, Hog Head Huey and a AH-64 Apache for 600. Is that a good price by forum standards?

Yeah Bob, I honestly think you did really well. Considering they're NIB, that's a pretty fair deal.

The ones you got are nice, all worth $150 each NIB. The rest are not worth $150 each. They are nice but can be had for less.

What do you think the grouping of the last 4 are worth to make a small profit resealing?

The Eagleston P-47 is probably worth the most of that bunch. The Sabre is the less desirable of the two color schemes (The Huff commands a higher price).

I'll disagree with Jnewboy on the values. I think the Sabre and P-47, definitely. The Mig can be had for less but is the desirable color, the P-38, meh...that one is a crap shoot.

Both the P-38 and P-47 are worth almost $150 nib. I would not pay $600 for that lot though. You can get the cold war jets much cheaper. The Bubbletop in particular is collectible.

I didn't buy the last 4. I would only go 400 on the last 4.

Did you open the P-38 box to confirm the paint? Back in 2008 or 2009 FAO Schwarz was going out of business and selling the p-38 for $19 (yes, that's right). They must have had hundreds of them because they were listed online for at least two or three weeks. I purchased three with the thought of re-painting in different schemes, or even modifying to photo-recon or, in the unfounded belief I could do more than I had time or space for, even creating a carrier version with folding wings. Never did any of that work although I still think about it. Anyway, of the three two were the silver d-day version; one was 'Samantha Peyton'. So for a time, it was impossible to tell what model was in what box without opening.

I'll never see these at $19 again, but I'd certainly like to find a 'Samantha'.

Flayrah, good to see you posting again! The Samantha Peyton came in pretty much the same box as the silver D-Day P-38 save that it usually had a different figure - the Corsair pilot - on account of it being a PTO P-38. That was how one could distinguish it.

Tman, after all these years I never knew the difference in pilots. And to think all those boxes I opened at TRU when all I had to do was look for the pilot...
