Badcat: new 1/18 toolings

Post by dragon53 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 9:35 am

From Badcat:

"There should be some significant action at the International Toy Fair February 13-16th in New York. The manufacturers and would-be manufacturers are holding their cards tightly but something is afoot. I've been trying to extract the necessary information without much luck but there seems to be a rumbling in the box that won't go away. I'll predict here and now that we're going to see some neat new tooling(s) in either 1:18 or 1:32 scale on display with the production announcement at this show!..."

There was a rumor from a credible source about the possibility of 3 I think it was, 1:32 aircraft.

Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but I'm hoping it does. The 1:32 market (at least the secondary one) is hot.

A Komet would be very cool. I know there has been talk for sometime about this but who is supposed to be producing the Komet?

Well any new release in 1/18 or 1/32 would be welcome.

Not getting my hopes up, but we will see in a couple of weeks.

Komet would be a good choice. :D

I wish I could muster up even an ounce of care for this news, but I think I'm officially an old dog now and need to see the package in a collectors hands before my disco stick can rise. Please let this be the year JSI gets a new modern bird into our hands.

The Komet would be a very welcomed addition to my collection as long as it's priced appropriately for it's size.
