King Tiger on EBAY??

$229 is the price for the jagdtiger. Plus shipping from Australia for the Jagdtiger to the U.S. by Sea Mail (65 days in transit by ship) is $79. Air Mail is $115 (10 days in transit).

I'm hoping that maybe since Matorro has the molds for the Jagdtiger, there might be a time limit or something like that on the exclusivity to Awesome Hobbies. I'm wondering what the minimum order is to get something like the jagdtiger made. In the 1/18 diecast car world, it usually averages around 1,200 to 1,500 for a car costing $100-$130 at retail.

I believe with alittle patience, we will see the Jagdtiger released through US vendors, I'm just waiting for the Kingtiger right now.

"Exclusive" is a weird term with toys. Star Wars exclusives, once they end their initial run and the store which had them doesn't want any more, are open to others to buy and sell then. So there's certainly hope on the Jagdtiger. The only way that could be blocked is if the Australian company actually owned some rights to the production materials, like say the molds were partially invested by the Aussie group. Then they'd have some say in how they're used.

well, i suspect they just have the rights for a certain period of time and then the JT will be available for general release. If not, HengLong may make a JT now that they have a KT.

i wonder how she got her hands on the KT. when i received the last stock list from 21c early last year the KT was on it but marked not for sale? many of the older 1st run pieces were going to be sold by the owner. the only piece i was able to aquire was the Mig mad Mavis which was thier paint master. i have sold some stuf to her in the past but maybe shes selling it for the? i know several pieces were sold for them on various user sites
