Most desired foriegn 1/18 Aircraft World War II Or Modern

Post by Jericoeagle1 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 3:59 pm

I've been looking at the possible future releases from JSI and I have to admit I'd like to have the Su-27 UBK. It's pretty sharp looking. Are there any other Foreign Jet Designs that would make a cool 1/18 model? I like the Japanese redesign of the F-16 quite a bit as well.

As for World War II, anything new would be great especially some Russian designs.

British Panavia Tornado. It looks good and has tons of armament options. However, if one stretches the definition of modern, I would take a Mig-21 in a heartbeat

I collect WWII, so I'd go with a Me-163 Komet , Ho-229 Flying Wing and a Me-110. In that order....... 8)

If JSI follows through with their F-15,and Su 27 I will be extremely happy. Those are my most desired modern jets.

F-4 Phantom would be another excellent choice. So many repaints that could be done.

Mig 21 is a classic cold war jet,and could also be done in many schemes.

For WWII,I would be all over a Mosquito

:D
A better quality P-47 would be nice.I only have one of them, and not very impressed with it.I haven't got any more as a result.

A new Spitfire is very high on my list.I have NKK,and think that it is pretty good, but is an old mold.
A new Spitfire would be great.Perhaps a later version.

I would love the Panavia Tornado, just a great looking plane.
Fred, really looking forward to the JSI 1/18th scale Grumman F-14 Tomcat.

F-8 Crusader. As much as people(including myself) want a Phantom, the Crusader was the better dogfighting machine and an important Vietnam era jet.

It'd be great to see VF-124 F-8's and a VF-124 F-14. Quite fitting actually.

For Tornado I'd push for the IDS and ECR variants. ADV looks alright but the IDS is a beast.
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Hurricane
FW-190 A

All made by a certain custom manufacturer, but I can't afford $500+ airplanes.

Still even they know these are very popular WWII aircraft. You'd think someone like JSI would get that clue.

Sure I'd like some obscurities, but it's doubtful they would appeal to the mass market. These would for sure.

Jets, I still want a

WWII: Do 335 and the Fa 223.

Cold War: OV-1 Mohawk, OV-10 Bronco and a m-fin' H-13 ( a certain board member should knock off this armor stuff and get on a 13 project (;))

Modern: Most of the variants of the Flanker family would be acceptable to release for me.

And do i really need to mention the Hind?
