I would really like to get the Sukhoi Su 27 whenever they come out. It's my most favorite jet Fighter.

A4 Fuselage printed. They still need the support material removed. Should have them next week.

Thanks for sharing Nathan. Anyway you can make the A-4 shot bigger ?? I saw the Phantom shots on Facebook, she's looking good.

Those prototypes are looking great, Nate! With the F-4, you’ve gotten near where Admiral Toys once was and way further than 21st Century Toys ever got 8)

Tom sent me this of the parts cleaned and taped together. Once I have it I can attach the wings and vertical tail section.

Please tell me we are gonna have a Vietnam era F-4 in camo. I’d definitely be in on all of these new aircraft.

Snuck in a little work on the A4 over the weekend. Don't like cold rainy days in spring, but is a perfect excuse to sit in the shop. I was able to get the canopy cut out, wings fitted and dorsal fin attached. Still need to work on the windscreen. It shattered when I was trying to cut it loose. The SLA material is very thin and brittle. WIP

The price point I am shooting for would be below $300 or even lower. My plan is to keep it simple. No moving parts other than maybe the canopy. Plug N Play wheels like the 1/32 F4. I would like to stay with the fiberglass wings and fuselage. Do enough that it looks nice, but allows the builder to do more detail if they wanted. It's a tricky balance to get enough detail that people are interested and too much that it's not affordable.

I am tinkering around with an Arduino for my own amusement to add exhaust illumination, cockpit lighting, NAV lights and sounds. The 1/350 TOS Enterprise I have slotted to work on next has an amazing light and sound system ran by an Arduino. Cool thing is it can be tailored to almost anything.

Like the idea that this will be fibreglass, a bit more stable than resin and a lot more lighter. This has piqued my interest in the Skyhawk. Personally keeping it simple without a deluge of moving parts is probably the way to go. If the F-4 turns out to be fibreglass too then again would be interested. Very impressive work, actually it's pretty amazing Nathan. btw Thanks again for the F-14 undercarriage, they arrived in the UK safe and sound.

I don't want anyone to think the project is dead. Typical with our hobby life and work gets in the way. I haven't figured out how to win the lottery. I've been working on it here and there, but not enough to post consistent updates. Also with a project like this you have to be thinking five steps down the road which slows things down. We'll get there hopefully before to interest dies off.

Pizzaguy I know this and the F4 are projects you guys have been working hard on. I would love to offer as much help as I can. My father happened to work alongside A4s when he was with 531 and may have reference material you can use. i will ask him if you would like.

No worries Nathan, Rome wasn't built in a day. Don't forget to contact my bud Ed. Most of us are really looking forward to this and future updates.

I think I have finished the overall shape. What's your thoughts? Canopy area will be finalize after I have the molds done. With the little time I've had I completed the gun ports and bulge under the nose. Next step is panel lines. Then on to molds.
I hope 2020 in a more productive year than the last. No weddings or graduations this year. You can faintly see the panel lines on the horizontal fins. I should have taken a closeup of those.

Off topic I've been honing my 3D printing skills. Got a Ender 3 over the summer. This is a file off Thingiverse not mine. I wish I had the ability to do this. Should make prototyping parts much easier.

A-4 looks great. That Battlestar is cool! how big is it? I promised my son we would get our 3-D printer set up again soon.
