I have two 1/18 AutoArt die-cast sports cars, a BMZ Z7 and Jaguar XKSS. They're incredibly beautiful replicas.

Re: JSI F-14 "Black Knights"---who's buying one?

I know, I know... But $35 for one pilot??? Yikes. I'll CONSIDER the unpainted version at this point. I will say I spent $40 on a 1/16 Panzer Commander, for my HengLong Tiger I, but that was the most exquisite resin figure I've laid my hand on and sculpted by a Hollywood special effects professional ...

Re: JSI F-14 "Black Knights"---who's buying one?

Nope, I'm not buying one and don't plan to buy another. My original SpotCat (original landing gear) has been repainted and sitting on Pizzaguy's lighted stand.

Hey JSI & Merit, seen any F-14 pilots lately???

Re: 1/18 HE 162 or 1/18 HO 229

Who can pass on the mystique of the original Flying Wing Horten ? The closest we ever got was the one Hasbro was working on for Indiana Jones toys. Which was cancelled and wasn't even a Horten. It would have been out of scale and inaccurate (of course) but cool nonetheless. Gets my vote too. I have...

Always been a huge fan of the Horten. One of these days I'll get to see her at the Garber facility.

Re: TENDER TERROR LISTED ON EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think the best one is the HUFF Agreed. The first time I remember the Huff was visiting my father in Florida in 1981 when I was six years old when he had built a 1/48 Hasagawa F-86. Flash forward to the Time-Life books of the early 1980's and the volume "Fighting Jets" with the artwork of Thompson...

Why are these two F-86's so special? I got the latest Historic Aviation that has Mig Mad Marine listed for sale along with the NKA Mig-15. What scale are they and where did you see it? Any links? JOC Doh, nevermind, sorry. It was Mitch's Squitch. But Historic Aviation does still have them in their ...

Re: Got my Forces of Valor 1:16 Tiger I

Snake, Thank you much for the compliments. Yes, I did all the painting on the figure. The figure was bought from coloradominiatures.com for roughly $45 USD. The figure is full-length, but used a razor saw to cut him below the waist to fit into the Heng Long Tiger. I'm still trying to track down the ...

Re: Got my Forces of Valor 1:16 Tiger I

Those 1/16 figures are beautiful made. Great pics!! Thanks PB, they're probably the most beautiful resin figures I've ever worked with. Pricey...yes. I actually had to chop his left arm off at the elbow to get his arm resting on the cupola since S&T Products forgot to include the other optional arm...

Re: Badcat's 1/18 Wish List for 2011

I'd love to see Hal Marr's F-8E in 1/18th, but that's my pet wish. I know it probably wouldn't generate that much interest. "When you're out of F-8's, you're out of fighters" The Komet, priced well and with a pilot figure and tow dolly, would be awesome. I'd love to see a Kettenkrad with it too (I'm...
