@bruzilla - honestly, you're giving the marketing analysis dept of 21st waaayyyy too much credit.

21st went down (several times) for many reasons. I'm pretty sure that people "hoarding" more than one plane from WM at a time didn't have much to do with their bottom line.

Planning to do the same to mine. The brown is just awful and I love arctic theme. What paint did you use? And where did those side cannons come from? I don't mind the modular weapons hasbro has been using but I wish they'd at least give us enough to fill the holes.

I've got a MISB Hurry Home Honey and Cripes A'Mighty up right now on my ebay. Started both at 99cents so whatever they sell for should give a good reference point for future sales. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-18-BBI-ELITE-FORCE-P-51D-MUSTANG-HURRY-HOME-HONEY-P51-/320563652441?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDom...

I picked the Tiger since I'm 99% armor/ground vehicles. If the SdKfz 251 had been listed it definitely would have been my top choice as it's so open to customizing all the different variants.

http://www.smooth-on.com/ love their moldmaking rtv and their resin. they have some great how-to videos on their site. Their starter kit is a good price at $50 http://www.smooth-on.com/index.php?cPath=4_1217 They're also great to deal with as a company. When I was a poor design student they shipped ...

do a google images search for 1/18 solido jeep and you'll see the roof-up jeep, the SAS jeep, and the french fire jeep they made. The roof-up is really nice but needs weathering (as do they all). The SAS is a decent start but the gear and rear .50 cal are junk. The fire jeep is interesting if you we...

It's definitely one of the best pieces ever produced in the 1/18 line. It's worth the $200 or so, if you can snag one for that price do it.

It depends on the number of units that are in the production run. If it turns out to be is a first baby step for AG by producing a limited run, I'll get one simply to support AG. I'm a vehicle guy with only a few planes and I'd buy this for the limited investment and so AG gets the KT into producti...

Yeah, this would be on my "must have multiples of" list if produced in 1/18th scale. I think it would be a hot seller in the larger market as well. I don't think it would be less expensive to produce though as the open tubular frame means that they'd have to mold all the intricate engine details etc...

Yep, they must have busted the mold for it or something because it was only on the first release version.

Just to help avoid any confusion...

The only 1/18 scale kubel that 21st made was the original gray version. To my knowledge it was never sold at WM.

FOV has never made a 1/18 kubel.

Minichamps has released a gray and a DAK 1/18 kubel.
