Re: new hobby master stuart has arrived
nice, the US,Brit and M8 are all must buys.
although just ordered warmaster's RSO/PaK and Blitz's 250/3 to covert into a 250/11 alte this weekend..should have held the few days for the HM M5a1..although it gives me something to order with the new P-39Q

Even if it wasn't close, IMO new paint and old paint never match, and when done in the field a total respray is not normally done unless there is special warrent for such.

I was pleased with the IXO 5.Pz Pz I B, I found the scheme to be correct too, it's in the Polish Militaria book on the Pz I in the color plates.

it wasn't a 105 was to be towed by a 3ton vehicle.StormyThoughts wrote:I don't think it was very common for car like this to tow arty pieces. There is not enough room for crew and ammo in it. Besides, 105 le FH18M on it's own weighted 1,8t

Re: IXO 1/72 Horch Kfz.15 + 10,5 cm le FH18M
That's really cool! Horch probably not as nice as the HM version, but a great combo. Does anyone know if IXO/Altaya towed arty like this or the pak 40 (w/RSO) can be put in the deployed position with split trails? it's a different Horch body, HM is a 108a, this one is more akin to the type seen in ...

No. Two different models. One is 1/43 and 1 IS 1/72
The 1/43 is Atlas, and the 1/72 is indeed IXO, Number 54 of the Panzer Line(released Oct.27 or so)

Re: New in box pics of HM releases.
note the big differance among the 39 and 40 Pz II C, the front bow plate, early models had a rounded plate while the later models had a flat plate along with added armour to driver's plate and front of the turret. Looks like HM got the flat bow on the 1940, but I am not sure on the 1939 til I get mi...

Hmm... Should't R03 have brown splotches? I remember seeing it that way somewhere... :? Also Tamiya thought the the R0X platoon of the 35.Panzer Regiment were solid grey..which is where HM got their scheme from as the HM tank is identical to the Tamiya.. http://www.gpmd.com/imagel/t/Ltams0299.jpg N...
