Cargo Aircraft
Photos of Cargo Aircraft throughout the history of Aviation. Cargo aircraft are typically fixed-wing aircraft that are designed/converted to carry air cargo, rather than passengers. These aircraft tend to be very large with at least one huge door for loading cargo and are often used to launch airborne forces such as paratroopers. Examples include the C-47 Skytrain, Junkers JU-90, C-141 Starlifter, KC-135 Stratotanker, Antonov An-124, C-130 Hercules, C-17 Globemaster III, C-2 Greyhound, C-5 Galaxy, and more.
